Your document stays with you

StysloDoc makes files smaller in your browser. Your document’s content is not uploaded to our server or sent to other services.

What happens to your file

1. You choose a document. The site can access only the file you select.
2. Your browser processes the file in your device’s memory and prepares the result.
3. You save a copy. The original on your device is not overwritten.

“Remove document” stops processing, clears the selected file, result and preview, and revokes temporary links to the copy. It remains available during compression. “Cancel” stops the current attempt but keeps your selected file available to try again.

When the browser reports that you are leaving the page or suspending it, StysloDoc also cancels processing and clears the tool. Returning to a page restored from browser history requires selecting the document again. An ordinary switch to another tab preserves your work.

Previews open inside the tool. Collapsing a preview removes its displayed image or PDF page; the result remains available to save until you clear the tool.

Browsers do not always notify a page before it closes, particularly during abrupt shutdown. The app releases its references to data, but it cannot guarantee immediate or irreversible erasure of all browser or device memory. Your original and downloaded copies remain on your device until you delete them.

What hosting receives

Cloudflare Pages serves this website. When you open a page, the hosting service receives ordinary request information such as your IP address and browser details. PDF and HEIC processing may load additional program files from this site. Those requests do not contain your document or filename.

The compressor does not upload documents, use a server fallback or save document contents in cookies, local storage or a database.

Visit analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for visit statistics and page performance. According to Cloudflare’s description, it does not use cookies or fingerprinting to track people across websites. These are separate technical requests; the app does not add selected documents or filenames to analytics data.

On a shared device

After saving your copy, remove the document from the tool and close the tab. Check the downloads folder if someone else uses the same device. Avoid sending sensitive files in a support message.
